Client work
Energy contracts, children's clothing, business books, language training and plenty of other subjects. In my work as a content strategist and copywriter I've immersed myself in the most diverse industries over the years, regularly learning far more about a subject than I ever expected.
I enjoy that research at least as much as the writing itself, because as far as I'm concerned good content doesn't start at a keyboard but with curiosity. I want to understand how something works, why it matters and what a reader actually gets out of it. Only then can you turn complex information into a clear story that not only reads well but also delivers results.
Here you'll find a selection of my work for various clients, the questions I sank my teeth into and what my approach achieved in practice.
Who I've worked for
Holland Sail. For the book Vloot vol Verhalen (2026) I interviewed skippers, wrote up their stories and gathered images, together with others. See also Books.
Ben Steenstra. Editing of Start Giving a Damn and its sequel, A Damn Good Business.
NieuweStroom. Marketing and communications (2023 to 2025), including the SEO project for the website.
Mickey Blue. Articles for this children's clothing brand from Arnhem.
Garden Connect. Content marketer (2021 to 2023).
I have also written for Atrivision, CallTheOne and Mindd.

Frequently asked questions
Do you also write about subjects you don't know?
Especially those. I first immerse myself in your field, your customers and their questions, and only start writing once I can explain it myself.
Do you also do editing?
Yes. Among other things, I edited Ben Steenstra's two books: making texts more readable without losing the author's voice.
